Summer Camp 2010 planning is underway and moving quickly to our departure in July. As you know this year we will be staying at Camp Hale in Southwestern Oklahoma, a great facility just about 4 hours from Frisco.

We have been able to reserve a spot on one of the larger and most popular campsites (capacity 60 and near the dining hall and pool), Chickasaw for the week of July 18-24. We are expecting a full turnout again next year including many new scouts who will join this winter and wanted to reserve a large site.

Camp Fees and Payment Schedule- Final Payments are Due!

Cost for scouts will be $210 and Adult Leaders will be $150. All money is due now, checks must be made out to Troop 298 and cash or checks need to be delivered to our Troop Treasurer Becky Ford. You will get a receipt for your payment.

If you have enough in your Scout Account you can also let Becky know by email to use those funds as a deposit (or to pay in full).

Merit Badge Signup

Dr. Swanson will be handling the Merit Badge signup again this year, it will open on April 1st for all registered campers. Watch for more information on what is available and how to sign up. You must be registered to sign up for the merit badges, so please don't delay.
